i am 7 weeks pregnant and started bleeding about 6 days ago. it was light but ob wanted me to go the the ER for sonogram and ultrasound. everything look fine, i had no cramps (other than the light ones i had been having for almost 5 weeks now). i went home and the poking around they did caused more cramping and heavier bleeding. next day i went back to ob, and they said keep an eye on it, if i had blood clots larger than half dollar, go to ER. since i had been passing small clots, she asked if there was any tissue in them & i said no. this is now day 4 since the ER visit and i am bleeding regularly, but not as much as a normal period. i was working last night and felt i little crampy so i went to the bathroom and passed a clot that was easily the size of a quarter. no tissue, just thick blood, and had thick blood for about an hour. still no cramps. has anyone been in this situation and carried full term?

I am currently 14 weeks and I to have had bleeding, large clots and included cramps / contractions - I went to have scans every time - think I have had about 7 scans already now - and everytime the baby has been fine and they can see no cause for it.
Keep resting lots - but if it gets bad go and see someone.
I was told that some women bleed all the way through pregnancy and everything is fine - so basically there really is no advice I can offer.
I havent bled in about a week and a half so fingers crossed it might be ok now - I wish you the best of luck
you should probably go back to the docs hunny to get checked again.
i have heard of people who bleed right through their pregnancy .
a girl i went to school with had regular periods for nine months, didn't get a bump or anything then one day went into labour and that was the first she knew she was pregnant,
