10 weeks prego?

hi there. i am 10 weeks and 5 days prego. i heard that getting diarreha was bad if you are pregnant. is this true. if it is bad what happenes to the baby. also not being able to keep anything down. i ate this morning and havent since i cant even keep waterdown it comes right back out and i am really hungry. what do i do.

Answer:
diarrhea can cause dehydration, which is bad. so can morning sickness. you need to keep hydrated. my doc says to drink a cool carbonated beverage (gingerale is good) or a sweetened beverage (i drink oj w/ calcium). if u are like me, nothing helps my morning sickness all u can do is try to replace what u lose. i take flintstones chewables to get the vitamins i need and i eat whatever i can tolerate eating, whatever is the least likely to make me gag, which is usually just fruit. if u are lucky enough to have a craving, eat whatever u crave, is what my doc says. better than nothing.

Give ur doc a call tho, see what he/she says.
it's bad because your body is losing fluids..the best thing is to advise your doctor so something can be prescribed
When I was pregnant I lived on saltine crackers and room temperature sprite for the first 4 months then ate taco bell like everyday talk to your doctor theres medicine they can prescribe if it is that bad good luck it will pass soon
Drink lots of fluids you can get dehydrated easily if you have diarrhea. Eat bland foods like toast, banana's or rice. Call your Dr if it continues for more than a few days. Ask the nurse any questions you may have that is what they are there for.
you can get dehydrated may be preg related or you may have the stomach bug. if it's bad go to ER and ask for IV fluids. if preg related talk to dr there are meds you can take to help with morning sickness
no. diarreha is not bad when your pregnant, nothing will happen to the baby. you morning sickness will subside soon. just hang in there. try a little ginger ale, some toast, eat very little at a time and eat very slowly.
I have a vitamin regimen that will help with all these problems, come visit : http://ladiesplace.net/community/index.p...

There are a lot of things you can do or take but a lot of them harm the baby or could be harmful, I know you don't want that so here is a regimen that is healthy and helpful with pregnancy, MS and all around your body health.
You need to call your OB man...dehydration is bad for YOU! It decreases the amount of blood volume you have. Have you tried pedialyte? This would at least keep your electrolytes in balance. Doctors don't like their patients to keep these kinds of things from them as they can impose risks on both the mother and the baby...call him today!
I 've never heard of that
but I know that from the pre natal vitamin that pregnant women usually take they could end up having diarreha
if you have concern talk to your doc don't let people get you crazy
Good luck
see a doctor, Im 10 weeks too, always consult a doctor
