I found out at 21 weeks with my first, and at 17 weeks for this current pregnancy. Parenting books say 16-22 weeks and I fit right in there, so I would guess average to be around 18-20 weeks or in your fourth month. Both of mine were girls, but I don't think that matters.
I would say if the doc can get a good look at the fetus it should be around 19 weeks.
Some say around 16 weeks but thats only if the fetus is laying in a good postion.
Generally doctors can tell anywhere from about 17 weeks on.
Most doctors do it at 20 weeks.
As early 16 weeks but more accurate at 20 weeks. Congrats!
