18 month old baby doesnt eat?
Answer:
give him finger foods
So? Let him cry.
first off... change his/her bowl and spoon, something bright and colourfull and fun... then keep a diary of EVERYTHING baby does eat every day for 2 weeks... you will be suprised just how much they do eat as no baby will starve itself... i had exactly this with my son, and after keeping the food diary i stopped worrying completly because i saw just how much he was eating!
maybe he/she wants to feed him/her self , our boy was very independent at that age around food. throw it on the tray and make sure it's easy to handle,chunky...good luck!
DON'T WORRY, LET THEM EAT WITH THEIR FINGERS. GET SOME FINGER FOOD LIKE WHOLE GREEN BEANS, CORN, CRACKERS, ETC. THEY EAT WHEN THEY GET HUNGRY.
Take away the bowl & spoon. Use a spout! Liquify your vitamins by making milkshakes. You can hide fibre, fruit, vitamins & yoghurt in these wonderful drinks. Try a cup for soups etc. Don't stress it's just a stage that loads of toddlers go through. As long as your toddler is passing urine & using her bowels & is active & running around having tantrums etc then she is well. Just get through this stage as best & sneakiest as you can. Best of luck.
try not to forcfe-feed . Would demand when it feels hunger. As a parent we've tried. Also keep changing the feeding utensils -color/shape /material etc . Sometimes children develop phobia. Also try to keep experimenting different eatable things. Kids get bored very frequently & very soon.
Try to feed more and more whatever she likes. There is no best or worst foods for babies. A tummy full is the only good thing.
Do nopt go by hypes of marketing cos on complete food etc ,this is a hype created by them only. There's nothing called complete food. Remeber Mohammad Ali, do you think ,he had been brought up with complete food. There are n no of examples of poor kids who've made big without their mother knowing anything on what to feed.
Try your best ,but stop worrying too much.
dont force your child to eat, give him what it likes and how he likes to eat...let it enjoy eating..
ah, been there. Lucky for you he or she is old enough to be running around. Fix a peanut butter sandwhich or something else that is easy for them to grab, cut it up in bite sized pieces, and show them where it is. *put it somewhere at their level while they are running around. He or she will eat when they get hungry enough.
