Has your child ever told you this?

My four year old daughter is supposed to be taking a nap. She's been laying down since one o'clock, and hasn't been to sleep yet. She just came in here and told me that the reason she can't go to sleep is because her panties are getting too small!! Have your kids ever told you anything like this? 10 points to the best one!

Answer:
In the middle of the last minute planning of my wedding, our whole family got a bad stomach flu, the car started acting up, and my ex decided to stop paying child support.

Well, one night I thought my 2 year old son was a sleep upstairs when I yelled something at my fiance along the lines of "I can't freaking handle anymore!"
Soon after this my son makes his way down the stairs and wraps his arms around my legs and says "you can do it, mom."
It was the first time I ever heard him speak a sentance that long. It was so cute and very motivating. Love that kid.
Try getting her bigger panties?
Sure - it makes since too tight underwear binds the legs and tummy making it difficult to get comfy and sleep. My son would go commando when his underwear was to small and when I caught him he would just say it felt better than the tight underwear. He is a big fan of boxers too - funny how they are so clever so young.
she probably ment what she said. her painies were to tight and were probably givin her a weddgie
My son tells me all kinds of things not to have to go to sleep. He told me one time that he can't sleep because his eyes wouldn't let him. But her undies may be to tight and making your bottom itch around the seem, I have had that happen to me before.
when it comes to Nap time they can come up with a different one every day. I think i have heard them all but no wit starts over with the grand children.
My three year old told me "Mom, I got a big old meatball"
He was talking about his head, which is not that big.
My son told me one time that he wouldn't take a nap until all of his stuffed animals were tucked in with him and they were asleep. After I tucked them all in, he went right to sleep. Children do the cutest, funniest things!
My son tells me it's time to eat when I tell him it's time for bed. He knows he won't be sent to bed hungry. He just hasn't figured out that it helps to be hungry before making such a claim.
Yes! I was trying to put her hat on because it was cold outside. I told her "Get over here and put this on your head." She looked at me like I was an idiot and said "I don't have a head!"
Kids are very direct! I was a cabin leader one year at a church camp in addition to my official jobs... the next year I declined because I was 7 mo. pregnant and the cabins were too far from the bathrooms.

Upon hearing that I wouldn't be her leader a second year, a returning camper looked at me and asked,

"Do you HAVE to be pregnant?"
My granddaughter told me when she was four yrs. old that she couldn't get to sleep because God gave her defective eyelids. Apparrently, the ones she got leaked & let the light in. When I reminded her that it was night time & her room was dark she blamed her Mom for making her eat too many carrots so she could see in the dark. Can't win sometimes!!

When my two were smaller I got them t-shirts. One said "I Don't Know" & the other said "Not Me", because everytime you'd ask "Who did that?" that was the answers I got.
Yes and my 4 year old daughter also told me that her legs were thirsty one time it was so funny. they just try to get out of taking a nap.
The best thing I heard was from my brother when we were younger we were eating supper and mom and dad told him that if he eats a little bit more of his meal we would all get dessert, well the next night he asked 'mom, how much of my food did I eat last night?' mom replied that he had eaten about 3/4ths of his food his reply?
" If i eat three fourths of my supper tonight can i still have dessert?"
My oldest child, when she was 2 years old she use to tee tee in her bed so I would let her up...yeah gross but kids do the strangest things to get out of a nap...lol.
He.. he.. yea! My kids say and do the funniest things sometimes, but when my 10 yr.old was about two and a half every time I would ask him to put on his shoes or something he would throw himself on the ground and say things like "cant move the air is holding me down".lol and not much has changed till this day!
my daughter (now 11) used to come up with a different answer everyday for why she couldnt take a nap.it's a phase
I think you should get her new panties, like colorful ones that she will like.
maybe she's just not tired try changing her nap time to when u see she is tired or tuck her in with her animals and maybe she will be warm and doze away.ahh. nice and warm
she probaly feels tight or uncomfortable in her bed it might be the time to get her a new bed?!
When my brother was about 3 or 4 years old, he told my mom one day that he didn't need a nap because "my eyes not sleepy, mama". This is the same child who, when told that he could not bring his wagon in the house because the wheels were dirty, took the wagon back outside & removed the wheels! Then he brought it in the house anyway. He was 4 years old!
My six year old daughter had a dollar bill, which her aunt took to tease her, her aunt kept asking her how did she know it was hers? I asked her what the serial number was, she walked into the kitchen, got in the pantry and started reading numbers off of the cereal box, and as i was laughing my butt off i told her that was the wrong kind of cereal, she got really frustrated and began digging through the cabinet asking which one it was then? Funny stuff! i tried to explain to her the difference, but i think i just confused her even more..
I was taking a shower with my son (he's 4 now, this was when he was 3) and he pointed to my tummy and said "Mama! You look like a tiger!! Rarrrrrrr!!" Of course, he was pointing at my stretch marks.
Ahhhhh, I love kids.
My 2 year old daughter looked at a complete stranger in the grocery store today and said, "I have a tiny butt." Where she got that one from, I have no idea. Kids.
