Potty training problems,,,,?

i have a 4 year old girl and i have tried everything i can think of to get her potty trained,, she will pee in the potty but she will not poop at all in the potty i need help,, thank you all

Answer:
My cousin's son was the same way. She finally got her son a portable potty and would sit her in other spaces besides the bathroom until she got used to pooping. I walked in and he was sitting in the livingroom watching tv trying to poop. I always rewarded my son with things that he had wanted.
Kids potty trian at there own speed, evintually she will just not want to poop in her pants and will grow out of it. some kids though are embarrest about pooping in front of people so I know it sounds wierd but you might try leaving the bathroom and tell her to call you back in when shes done.
Reward her with praise when she goes to the potty. When you go out, put on the pull-ups. Tell her that unless she goes to the potty, she will have to wear pull-ups all the time. Maybe go to Wal-Mart and buy her a few pairs of "big girl panties." Let her pick them out, whatever kind she wants. When she uses the potty, let her wear them. If she don't, use the pull-ups. Be consistent, though.
have you tried incentive and reward systems? She is certainly old enough to understand a star chart. Every pooh gets a star, and when she has 5 stars she gets a small present.

Only problem is not to make the poohing too much of a big thing, as you don't want her having problems later.

Does she see you go to the loo?

What about her friends? Can you use them as an example of good behaviour, especially if they come over and sleep.
I wish I could give myself credit for teaching my 4yr old potty training...I owe it all to the amazing day care workers. Thank You. I recall when he was 2yrs old and we bought one fo those potty chairs with music and all that? He was confused an thought I had bought him another chair. He would take the thing all over the house, to the point that we had to discontinue using it. I couldn't convince him that it stays in the bathroom. He wanted to use the grown-up toilet. So I just let him. Bought him a step-stool...and voila!
Maybe u should ask her if she would liek to use the adult toilet, and encourage her to sit on it early in the mornings, like before or after baths. Most kids will have a BM around that time.
Ok, this may sound very strange, but one of my best friends finally got her little one fully potty trained (same thing, her little one would not go poop, just pee). Here's what she did, she took a blowdryer and 'warmed' the seat of the toilet. It actually makes the child feel very relaxed with all that warmth, and naturally they just 'go'.

My mom did a similar thing with me and my siblings, she simply took a warm towel (right out of the dryer) and placed it on our behinds. It was apparently quite relaxing and did the trick. We were all potty trained at a very young age.
