How do you get a 19 month old girl to stop biting others?

Bites when angry and when no one is giving her attention. Has bitten others from 3 months to 54 years of age.

Answer:
Be sure all the attention goes to the person she bites, and none to her. Say, "Oh, are you okay?" and rush over to whomever she's bitten, turning your back to her.

Tell her very calmly, "We don't bite, biting hurts" and stop engaging with her. When she wants to be picked up or played with you say, "I can't pick you up because you bite." "I'm not going to play with you, because you might bite."

Toddlers like to test reactions, and even bad ones are intriguing. They're smart - if something no longer gives them a reaction, they give it up.
Well, when I was little and bit someone they would bite me back and ask "how do you like that". Ofcourse it and i stopped biting.
well when she bites you should tell her no and give her a firm look and point at her... she's not to young to be scolded.. she needs to know that it's not nice.. give her something to bite on instead also such as a teething ring... or a stuffed animal... a towel or something...
give here attention and is it doesent work show here how ir feels and maybe she will stop and learn a big lesson. my little bro did that so i bit him realy softly and he never bit anyone ever agian and thats when he was 2 years old now hes 8 and he never did anything like that ever agian.
My darling girl did that too and I was so embarrassed! One time she bit me and my reaction startled her, I bit her right back! Not enough to break the skin obviously but it scared her and she never did it again. Good luck!
Personally, I agree with biting back. She does not know that it hurts someone else unless you show her how it feels. You need to teach her sometines by showing. Words aren't enough. Good luck
Keep a spray bottle of pure lemon juice in the fridge (and stick it in your purse or the diaper bag if you think you might need it, when you are going out). Squirt her in the mouth when she bites. It will only take a couple times before she stops doing THAT.
