My son will be 3 1/2 year old when he will be giving nursery screening test, what he is suppose to learn?
Answer:
If youre gong to an elite school then he should be able to tell different colours like the ones on his clothes. He should not really be clingy to you though most children are. Should have a healthy interest in everything and you should be radiant. You show what kind of a family environment you provide for the child be presentable!
I think you are referring to the screening test schools make parents go through to register and start their child at a school. I think it's an informal meeting/evaluation to see if your child can behave in a manner that is acceptable. It's also to see if he can follow some instructions and play with other children. Good luck.
You're over stressing.
My son was evaluated and now he's enrolled in PreSchool this January.
He had to be potty trained.
He had to be able to behave and follow instruction
They looked for special needs. Some preschools aren't equipped for the deaf and the blind and the handicapped.
He had to learn how to behave with other children; sharing and communicating and problem solving and stuff.
They checked his immunization and shots and visits.
They gauged his temperment
They gauged his capacity to learn
They gauged his language skills
Some preschools go as far as to run some drills to measure colors, numbers, alphabet, and shapes just to see where the child stands with the rest of the class. But I wouldn't worry about that.
It depends on the school. Some require them to know their alphabet and be able to count to ten as well as write their first name. Of coarse colors and basic shapes as well.
