He's not walking?
Answer:
yes you are alot of babies dont walk until there 2 or 3 years old. i know because i didnt walk till i was 3. just give him more time. he'll do it rust me
tell him to walk between you and your husband. Like mommy has a treat and so does daddy and he'll see a nutritous treat and get excitied. I was at the park yesteday and the parent told me that the 15 month old swinging next to me didn't walk until she was 14 months. If you child isn't walking by 16 months, go to the doctor, she might need some therapy
I am sure there are going to be alot of people with comments on here but I would like to reassure u from a personal experience that it is normal. My daughter didnt walk until she was 18 months old. Chaulk it up to her nervousness, fear of being mobile.. I am not sure. The DR told me it was normal. Now she is 9 years old and is perfectly healthy. Just be patient with the lil guy. he is just scared about going to far or too fast and pretty soon u will really want him to just sit down. haha. Once he figures out how to be mobile, he wont stop. Just be patient and it is normal.
My friends daughter is about that same age. Her birthday is September 16th. She is just starting to really walk along stuff and getting ready to take steps by herself. I believe he is still within the appropriate age for learning to walk. Once he starts you can't stop him and a strollar will still be needed. I suggest you just keep doing the extra with him and when he is ready he will take off... Just as mine did.
You are encouraging him right, as you said he'll walk when he is ready. Maybe leave it for a couple of weeks, try not to pay any attention to it just see if he'll walk without your encouragement. If by maybe a fortnight he still isn't making any attempts maybe have a word with the health visitor who could give you some advice
My 14 month old daughter has only just started to let go of my hand to walk a few steps at a time then she sits down and crawls. You are doing fine encouraging him when your son is ready he will start to walk on his own.
You are doing a great job and you are right, he will walk when he is ready. My son took his first steps at 13 months but didn't start walking on his own completely until 14-15 months. He took his first step when he let go of the coffee table because he was chasing a ball. You can try sitting a few feet away from him while is standing and call his name to come towards you. Act really excited when you see him try to walk or let go and don't sound disappointed if does just sit. Besides that, keep doing what your doing. He will get it soon (Then you'll be wishing he never learned to walk :) Good Luck and Take Care.
if your 2or3 years old befor you walk theres something wrong. you should see a doc if it goes that long.
You are doing a great job. My son was an early walker he walked by 10 months but my youngest twin didnt walk until 13 months. Once they get the hang of it, they will just suddenly do it from that day forth! Good luck and keep up the good work
