My daughter keeps waking up in the morning crying out, i think her hand is asleep?

but someone told me that shouldn't be happening b/c she is too little. but it seems, that by her laying on her arm it is only natural for the blood not to circulate as well. Am I wrong?

Answer:
if an adults arm can go to sleep a child's arm can. It has happened to my kids plenty of times. my kids tell me that it feels funny. I also have made them show me how they were sleeping as best they can. usually it was in one of those weird positions.

as always when in doubt it is best to consult with your doctor at the next check-up or if it continues for a prolonged time to give him or her a call.
good luck

yes my 2 year old niece has the same thing she says her arm hurts but she shakes it and i think its just asleep it only does it when she wakes up dont worry bout it.
Sounds logical. My son acts scared and confused when this happens. I hug him and I try to describe what he might be feeling (tingley or prickley) and that by massaging the area or flexing the muscles, it should get better.
