How do you get a 2 year old to stay dressed?
I can only dress her so many times and I only have 3 overalls for her (the only thing she cant get off) any suggestions?

She is just exploring and conquering a new skill and finding that being naked may be more fun! My son went through a breif period of this a few months ago. After i put his diaper on i would take a short piece of duct tape and place it over where the tabs of his diaper meet in the front and he couldn't get it off from then on. As far as keeping his clothes on I didn't make a big deal about it since he didn't do it in public, and since we're in Florida it was no big deal to play in the house in his diaper it's warm. :)
She will have to be wearing the overall untill she loses interest in undressing. Which is completely normal.
Tell your mother in law to stop coming over. 9 months naked and 2 years in clothes... she'll come around.. I like barefoot and my mom always made me wear socks... I hated it. Sometimes some people feel free naked. If she pees on the floor, I would punish her for taking the daiper off.. but as for your mother in law tyring to control your household with her anger... i'd tell her to call before she comes over or tell her not to come over at all. Persoanlly my house is peaceful, and only people I feel support me are allowed in
Duct tape. It has a million different uses. Tape the kid's clothes on. And while you're at it, apply a strip to your mother-in-law's mouth.
I'd invest in overalls...they will strap her in and hopefully she will stop trying to remove her clothes.one other thing I was thinking of.could she be allergic to the soap you use for washing her clothes her skin might feel irritated.Make sure you use a gentle soap like Dreft or Ivory.something that is kind to her skin. It's worth a try.plus rinse her clothes an extra time. It might not be this reason but it's worth a try.

It is just a phrase. It is better than biting and hitting.Mother in law needs to mind her own business! What does your husband have to say? Have him talk to his nosy mother. She sounds just like my busy body mother in law!!
My daughter is 2 also and does the same thing. I think she does it because she has just discovered she can do it. But she also tries to put them back on. I don't think there is anything wrong with it, it is just a discovery stage.
mother in laws BUG me, if her problem isn't bothering you don't worry about hopefully it is just a phase, but i hope she's only doing this at home, try to start pottytraing since she keeps getting her diaper off maybe she's ready...
My son was doing the same thing and still loves taking his pants off. Onsies were the only thing that kept the diapers on for a lonnngggg time. As far as your MIL...not her house, not her child, not her problem. :)
