The top person who will most likely answer your question is named Rustyskip. He is fabulous! I was searching for my father that I hadn't seen in 46 years and was able to locate him with the help of Rustyskip. He knows his stuff and where you can begin your search. Try Myspace it seems everyone is up there, put his name in the search box, or look up his friends names if u know any he might have kept in contact with and maybe u will have some luck!

You can start by checking www.google.com or www.yahoo.com...if you don't have any luck there, try making contact with some of his old friends in your neighborhood, if there are any still around. There are tons of ways to go about looking for him -- you may also want to google zabasearch - then go to that web site and start looking for him there.
