Are parents happier cause there kids watch sesame street?

Well, I'm at least happier while my kids are watching Sesame Street! =) lol
I personally don't like Sesame Street! Both of my children love Dora and Diego!
I love for my child to watch Sesame Street. They learn SO much and It gives me an hour to do some chores.
I don't really care for sesame street. My child enterains himself fine with out the use of TV shows while I am able to clean.
Sometimes we watch Sesame Street. I like to watch it with my son, not use it as a "babysitter". He learns a lot from it, but we like to play more than watch TV.

My son watches sesame street only when there is elmo's part... but he dont like to watch sesame street.. rather he watches curious george, dragon tales, dora, diego and wonder pets!!!
Yes- my one year old loves it and I can clean, cook, or just go to the bathroom alone.
My grandson (3) and I watch sesame street every day together. We talk about it and then turn the tv off and play with toy the rest of the day. He would watch tv all day if we let him.
We're not a big TV family so him watching Sesame Street really doesn't affect my mood.
But I'm happier with him watching Sesame Street because I think it's a fabulous program for kids, than something brainless and inappropriate for him (like Spongebob..which is way too old for my toddler and I'd rather not having him learn about burps and farts being funny yet)
My son, 2, watch es tv throughout the day, it's always on, but that doesn't me he's watching it...he loves PBS, that's all he watches...he can count up to 15 with Sesame Street, and recognize letters with Between the Lions...so, I would say I'm happy...and it gives me a little break...
