Can a 13 month old have tuna fish..the starkist tuna in the sealed pouch with water?

Answer:
Yes---don't give albacore tuna though because it has twice the mercury in it than regular tuna. Many parents don't give their fish and my doc thought it was great that I was wanting to do that--so cheers to you---you can give it twice a week.
as long as its not hard. give the baby little bits. not to much because he/she might get diariah
theres a book called feeding baby by Joachim Splichal and Christene Splichal and it just a book of healthy recipes and it tells you what babys can and cant eat.
my son loved tuna at this age break it into small bites though
good luck! my 2 yr old still want eat tuna
I would avoid simply for the incredibly high mercury level in fish. It's simply not worth it.

MODERATE MERCURY
Eat six servings or less per month:
Tuna (Canned
chunk light)
Tuna (Skipjack)*

HIGH MERCURY
Eat three servings or less per month:
Tuna (Canned Albacore)
Tuna (Yellowfin)*

HIGHEST MERCURY
Avoid eating:
Tuna
(Bigeye, Ahi)*

And that's for adults! I say skip the whole thing.
