Questions for the mothers?

#1
If you breastfeed your child for too long (past the age of 1) does that really affect the deeping of his voice?

#2
Is there a problem if a 3-year-old still drinks out of a bottle and doesn't eat solids?

Answer:
I never heard of it affecting the deeping of his voice but do you really want to be the mother who still breastfeeds while the child goes to daycare and 2.. i think it can be a problem if you child isnt eating solids at the age of three. drinking out of a bottle isnt that big of a deal but doesnt the food increase thier height and and weight and stuff like that... im not sure but if i were you id start feeding that kid some real food
Answer to question #1- Never heard of it. Sounds like a myth.

Answer to question #2- Yes, that is a serious problem that needs to be addressed with a physician.
1... I seriously doubt it.

2... Hell yes that's a problem.
1 I doubt anyone knows for sure, but this sounds like a crock of crap to me.
2 In my opinion, yes; by age 3, a person living in modern society ought to be getting comfortable with food textures & tastes, and how to handle a cup.
#1 No

# YYYYYYYYYYYeeeeeeeeeeeesssssss...
Hi girl!
#1 No, breast feeding will NOT affect the deepening of your childs voice.
#2 Yes, a 3 year old will have alot of problems both with nutrition and dental if he/she doens't eat normal tabe foods and get off the bottle.
1. Absolutely not.

2. Yes. There isn't a problem with a child nursing at that age. And some children may still be taking a bottle - though taking a bottle too long might cause orthodonic and dental problems (nursing won't - nursing actually helps prevent those things), but in either case the child should be eating a lot of solid at that age. Not to have any is a serious problem which may lead to other health issues such as severe anemia.
First Q, I've never heard of such a thing I knew a girl who Breastfeed her child until almost 4years old and he didn't have a deeper voice (but i found it strangely disturbing) Second Q, yes a big problem one they are not learning to chew properly and may not be receiving all the proper nutrients essential for their development
Question #1 I'm not sure because I stopped breastfeeding when he was 6 months old.

#2 I think that might be a problem but you should discuss that with the doctor.
Really? A deeper voice.. never heard of that before...

3 year old... Hmmm... see a dr please!!
#1 - No. We were all breast fed for 1 1/2 years and my brothers have some of the deepest voices I've ever heard. Besides, scientifically it makes no sense.

#2 - Yeah, serious problem. SERIOUS. This child is more likely to be obese in the future and suffer from food allergies.
#1, no, that's a ridiculous rumor
#2, yes, 3 year olds need nutrients that liquids alone can't provide in order to develop properly.
The breastfeeding question is a new one to me. I never heard of such a thing! I breastfed until 2 1/2, and my kid has a normal voice!
A 3 year old drinking out of a bottle, isn't such a big deal, though it is a good year to talk them out of it gradually, because pre-schools will put him in the "baby" class if you don't. BUT no solid foods sounds very bad..isn't he malnourished? He should have been on solid foods for 2 years by now. WHAT does your doctor say? (does he eat "some" food, but just more milk?)
I never heard of your first question, but i always heard that if a child drinks from a bottle too long after the teeth come in it can cause teeth problems. I'm not really sure about that but i would talk the doctor about it. I do know that my children's dentist constantly warned about the hazards of juice on teeth. My nephew's front teeth rotted out because he was drinking too much juice. So if that is what the 3-year old is drinking please brush his/her teeth frequently. I don't remember when my children started eating solids but it was before they were 3.
A 3-year-old STILL drinking from a bottle?! What the hell?
never heard of question #1 and to answer #2 yes this is a serious problem you need to talk to a pediatrician.bottles can damage a child's teeth, I know because i recently took my 2 yr old off and her teeth were already becoming misaligned.stop asap!
#1 - I didn't breastfeed...so I can't answer that question...but #2...a three year old should be eating solids by now...I would consult a pediatrician and ask his advice.
#1 never heard this myth, but most cultures around the world wean at age 4- do other cultures have voice abnormalities?
#2 I do not have an issue w/ a 3 year old having a bottle, but solids should be eaten too by this age. Does the child have any other developmental delays?
I don't really know the answer to #1.
I DO think there is a problem for #2.
A three year old does NOT need a bottle and he/she needs to eat solids for nutrition and health.
Um...#1 is a myth. That just doesn't make sense at all.

#2--I find it very disturbing that a 3 yr. old is drinking from a bottle. My 3 yr. old is in tae kwon do, on a bowling league, played baseball this year and is getting ready to start soccer. He also reads and does basic math. I cannot imagine him carrying around a bottle doing all of that. I cannot imagine his peers carrying bottles to all their games and functions. A three year old is no longer a toddler There is something very wrong if you have or know of a child that age drinking from a bottle and not eating solids.
Breastfeeding does not affect the voice.

As for the 3 year old still on the bottle, that is a problem. A child should be weaned off a bottle and on a sippy cup around 1 year old. They should also be able to handle eating solid foods by 12-18 months. You really need to speak to your pediatrician about this.
#1 - No. No correlation here.
#2 - YES! Get your 3 year old to a doctor RIGHT AWAY!
