What is a normal height and weight of a two and a half year old?
Answer:
I don't know if this will help or not, but by daughter turned 2 last December. She was 35.5 inches tall (so about 3 feet) and weighed about 28 pounds. At that time, the doc said she was in the 80th percentile for her height and the 60th for her weight and that was fine. I know there is a 6 month age difference there, between my daughter and the child you are asking about, but you could use that as a reference. He did say she (my daughter) is pretty tall, but since her weight was pretty normal you could kind of use that as a guide.
However, I was very tiny (only gained 7 pounds the first year). And I turned out fine. As long as they eat well and there is steady growth, I don't think docs worry too much about it.
3 feet and 32 ponds.
There is a chart you can use at baby center that is great for looking at where your child should be at http://www.babycenter.com/growthchart/...
My daughter is about that age and she is in the 75percentile for both her age and weight and she weighs 30 lbs and she is about 33 inches tall.
there's no such thing as normal, the doctor checks to make sure that your child is gaining weight and growing appropriately, but there's no set weight or height because genetics take a role also. My daughter is 3 feet tall and 25 lbs and she is 3.
like others said check the percentile chart you can seacrch online for it. my son is 32 months 25-50 percentile and is 36 inches 30 pounds
