My 2 year old little girl keeps asking me to put vicks on her nose even though she isn't sick .?

I don't believe it would harm her- unless she's eating it. She may just like the smell. Perhaps just letting her smell it in the jar while you hold it? Or look into aromatherapy essential oils that are the same as in vicks. you could use a room diffuser so she could smell it when she liked.
I don't think it would hurt her. But she probably just likes the smell. You might explain to her though that it is only to be used when she is sick. Then try to get her interested in something else. She'll probably forget about it soon enough.

Aww hun relax a teeny tiny bit wont hurt her and besides perhaps its a comforting smell to her. With this being cold and flu season you are actually protecting her from sore sniffly noses, and besides if you aren't sure just ask your family doctor or her pediatrician. Relax and remember these are the precious years.

I don't think Vicks is for everyday use. Use vaseline and tell her its Vicks. That is if she doesn't have a stuffy nose. You may want to have her checked for allergies.
The Vaseline won't hurt her and she may just be doing it for attention. My 2 year old daughter is in a deodorant phase right now

don't do it, my daughter is also a medicine addict. At 2 she told me her ear hurt her and I had to take my younger daughter for her shots the next day anyway so i brought her along so the doc could look. Her ears were both fine. When we were driving back home i asked her if her ear was ok now and she told me no. she said she wanted the ear drops her cousin had 2 weeks before for her ear. She just wanted it.

Is she maybe stuffed up? Maybe you need to take her to the doctor to see if she has allergies.
