What do you think should happen to this mother?
This mother's child (toddler) was found wondering on an interstate in Indiana only a soiled diaper, shirt and no shoes. Thank goodness a by passer called it in and stopped and retrieved the child before he was hit by a passing car. Its been on the news and very heartbreaking. How could a mother be so careless and let her toddler run free while she is asleep? I will have nightmares about this.

Answer:
I used to live in a apartment complex and one morning while looking out the window, i saw a little boy about two yrs old and another boy about six wondering around. They were only wearing t-shirts and the youngest one had a diaper on hanging to his knees the six yr old had no under wear on at all! Shocked i called the police department. They found out the lived right across the street from me but the thing that made it so bad was it was early morning and it had been raining all night. When the police officer knocked on the door the mother brought the kids in and shut the door in the man's face! I was thinking "lock that B*tch up"! I'm sure that the oldest boy opened the front door but the mother should have been awake already. Poor parenting, it's terrible and can break your heart but it's everywhere! They should make better laws for the safety of children.
hang her like sadam. lol i dunno. feed her to bears?
she needs to be arrested and charged for this. child neglect and endangerment the child needs to be in foster care where it can be kept safe
I knew someone who did the same thing, it actually happened twice! She fell asleep in the middle of the day (from drinking all night), her kids got out on the street and were nearly hit. She got the children taken away from her after the second time. I think that should happen in this case too.
At the very least she should face child neglect or endangerment charges.
wow..i don't know what to even say about that..its sad that there are parents out there that can be that careless...when there are so many couples in this world who cant have children at all...i personally think that the mother should be held accountable for her actions....
She needs to be charged with child neglect. And the child should go to foster care.
I heard about this story, it is so sad. They just had an update on the radio a bit ago and said that when they brought the child home to his mom, she was passed out and there was another child eating garbage off the floor. I hope someone has enough sense to take those poor kids out of that house!
Investigate for child neglect or child endangerment and if enough evidence is found, charge her.
i think the children should be taken out of that home and put somewhere safe where they will be loved
shoot the whore. Not but really they should send her to prison with no chance of probation ever.
Amazing! Here's the link to the story..

How very sad!
OMG -- I just read the link that Kathy shared. I thought I was going to throw up - how could any mother be so calm about "oh, he got out again". The kids should be removed immediately (which they were for now) and she should be fixed!
This mother needs to be given love, support and care... and lots of it. If she has no respect for the help and does not help herself then the help should be given to another, she and her progeny will meet their end one way or another.
