Here's the story: My 3-year-old, previously and excellent sleeper, has started to enjoy bad dreams and have become afraid of the dark and shadows. He'll get up up in the darkness scared. I tried a nightlight, going away lamps on, passage light, etc. but nought worked. I finally bought the Twilight Turtle which is a nightlihgt that projects stars onto the celing. He LOVES it. It gives rotten just ample light and distracts him from looking at the shadows. The problem is that it have an automatic 45-minute shut-off so when he wakes surrounded by the night it is rotten and he is scared. I own to go posterior in and comfort him and turn it on. I cannot find a similar product that stays contained by until it is manually turned off.
My query: does anyone know of a similar nightlight for this type of problem? I have to underscore that the stars all over the ceiling a great distraction from shadows which is why it worked. I would do anything for a great suggestion!
Answers: It isnt a dark light but you could use those stars which radiance in the darkened and put them up above him or around his bed they work for ages. if you place them where the projector next that will leave them to daylight just ample for him to fall asleep and not be upset.
Try glow within the dark stars (all over)... Even on the walls.... you don't even see later in the daytime time but glow at hours of darkness ... $1.00 at wal-marts. Good luck..
