Has anything changed recently? New baby, new babysitter, different routine?? If not it could be for attention. If putting him back in diapers would "bother" him than the threat of that might be the answer. If not maybe if you "ignore" it and have him clean himself up after his "accident" would do the trick. sounds like an attention grabber. put him in time out. my daughter started doing this, well she got spanked and she has not done it sence.

Hi there, i am a father of 3 boys. He is looking for praise. Most of us know that children will try to seek attention if you don't spend enough time with them so they do something that will. We are all so busy everyday that we cant spend every minute with them, i know. But the next time he does it, dont give him candy, a treat or any kind of gift but sit him down on your knee, look into his eyes (very important) and say 'well done, i am proud of you'. Ignore the wet pants as if it is nothing, because really it isn't. In time he will stop.
