You must bottle brake them first. Change your brand of diaper so that it is not so comfortable if they wet them. Then in the morning sit them on the potty, give them a few minutes if they go, clap your hands and say, horay! and give them praise. Don't get angry when they have an accident. Sooner or later, they do get tired of wearing wet diapers.

well to encourage the child to go, you could offer a small treat like a sticker, candy or anything else he/she likes after.
My best friend's daughter will be 3 in March. A while back they showed her the potty and how to use it, and why to use. They put her in training pants and told her when she needs to go, tell them. At first she didn't say anything, but after a while she would. 2 months ago, she just gets up and goes to the bathroom all on her own, needs help sometimes. They just introduced her to it, and when she was ready, she went to the bathroom.
No such thing as a best potty training method. Each child is a unique individual therefore changing the strategy that may work best for them. My oldest daughter was a big fan of bribery. Each time she went pee on the potty we gave her two mnm's... If she pooped on the potty she got four. She was completely potty trained in less then six months. My youngest daughter took two years to potty train, each day we had to do something new to get her to use the potty. For boys my mom suggests putting a cheerio in the potty and teaching them to aim for it.
