17 month old gets CAR SICK! Any help?
I moved her car seat to a window, and sat it more upright so she can see. No change. I know of no drugs safe to give her because she's so little.
If any of you have a similar experience, with a child SO YOUNG getting car-sick, I'd be grateful for any ideas that can help.
I am really disgusted by having to constantly scrub barf out of the car seat. The car seat padding is actually getting worn out because it has been dismantled and put through the washing machine so many times!
Thanks for help.

Talk to your bahbys doctor, there may be a medication he can perscribe.
My 3 year old has and always has had this same problem! She HATES the car, and never wants to go in it. The doctor said to give her a dose of Gravol about half an hour before going out, and it seems to help.
Open the window slightly or wait til she is a bit older to go riding.
Ginger has always worked for me. I used to have car sickness and it would always help. Ginger is a sure-fire cure for any kind of car sickness. As for how you would feed it to her, i'm not sure. They make little ginger snap things that are the same size as mints - maybe you could crush some up and put it in her gerber's.
