My 5 year out-of-date is erudition another native tongue?
Answers: Make an action to have her do both (first counting etc within french then within english). Because she's probably exposed to more French english will be her second language and it's almost expected for her to be somewhat slower in mastering it. Looki into watching (or buying) english sesame street or other kids tape and learning toys. Don't push it to rock-hard though she'll get it!
When you distribute your child to a French school they are gonna revise French! If you want her to speak English send her to a English college.
Just speak and use English at home, teach her duplicate things AT HOME that she is learning surrounded by school. Refuse to use French at home. The younger they swot a second language the easier it is for them to KEEP it.
you should speak english next to her if you can speak it. She will automatically sort it out in her commander. She wont be able to grasp why she does it but will automatically speak french to people who speak french to her and speak english near people who speak it to her. Speak it within the house
she guaranteed wont be confused.
The younger a child is the easier it is for them to pick up different languages so to edify her another one now is model. Speak to her in English for 1hour respectively day and hold her speak back to you contained by English she will pick it up in no time.
Children can pick up another discourse much quicker and easier than adults can.
Speak to her in English, read to her within English, watch TV shows within English, listen to radio stations in English. She will struggle at first, but you both call for to be patient. Eventually it will "click", and she will hold a huge advantage over her peers.
If she starts erudition one of the languages once she hits puberty, she will own a noticeable articulation carried over from the other language. If she learn both languages immediately, she can achieve original proficiency in both language!
Henry Kissinger and his brother came to the US when he be a teenager and his brother be a few years younger. The brother speaks English perfectly, and Henry speaks English near a German accent.
My children have the same problem (english/ spanish) but i newly kept teaching them within both languages...first within one then the other.. and eventually they get it. I believe it is important to know more than one jargon now a days...so basically be patient and budge over both languages...Good luck and pocket care!!
