What is the most embarrassing thing your child has ever done in public?
Answer:
My oldest son, Nick(who is now 14) was about 3 yrs old...I was divorced from his father and I taught him his home phone number so if he EVER needed to have someone call me..he could tell them his phone number...we went to the grocery store about 5-6 pm when all the business people grab their things for dinner etc...and he starts screaming out our phone number ~ area code and all.Got about 5 calls from guys who thought he was so cute!!
My son Adam(almost 6) was about 3 and he and my husband went to run an errand for me ( I just had my last child) and my husband had gas...BAD...STINKY.LOUD...G... son yelled..." smells like mommy is going to have to change YOUR diaper too daddy!!" While waiting in line to pay for stuff...he was holding his nose and waving his hand over his dad's butt! My husband almost died!! And finally...our youngest..Joey (almost 3) was sitting in a shopping cart with my husband pushing...an elderly woman walked by and my son says to her..." hey sexy...nice boobs...nice ***" My husband says this to me daily...but didn't think he'd pick it up...the old lady turned 5 different shades of red!!
It has to be the whole temper tamtrum thing. He would do it everywhere.
My son yelled to me that "Daddy has a big ol' pee-pee"(they took a shower together) right in the grocery store. You gotta love kids!
Stood on a picnic table in the park a few feet away from the rest of the kids getting ready for their lunches and proceeded to urinate, hands on hips, stating only he could make it rain that day! He was 4.
my son asked a black man why his skin was so dark... fortunately the man was not offended and was able to understand that my son is only 3. We both explained that it's just skin color, like some people have dark hair and some have light hair.
uhh, talk about embarrassing
Besides the tantrums she's done a couple of things. Once she walked up to the checker at a store and said, "Excuse me, did you know that my Mom's a Hoochie Momma?" Then this summer she started singing that song, Big Balls by AC/DC to my sister, but she inserted my husbands name into the song, so she was saying, "John's got the biggest balls of all." We only see my sister once every year or so, she was probably wondering what the heck we are teaching my daughter!
pick there noise or pass gas
I am a single mom, going to college and upon occassion I have to take my oldest (6 years old) with me to class. I had just gone to his parent teacher conference and he had gotten all A's on his first report card. That evening, he went with me to one of my classes and the professor gave back some homework that I got a 70 on. My son said, in front of the whole class, "Mama, you got a 70, you are going to get grounded if you don't start doing better!" I was really embarrassed!
That is funny!
My father who has had three strokes used to thing it was funny to teach my 2 year old how to curse ( now 4 ) He used to tell him to say ( excuse my language ) **** that *****. On day we were on the bus and a lady said hi to my son and that was his reply. I didn't know what to do. I was stunned! He doesn't curse anymore but believe me when I tell you that was the most embarrassing day ever!
my son took off his pants and started running towards the bathroom. i ran after him which only made him run faster. everyone was laughing it was really embarassing
I was shopping with my daughter at the mall, we got on an elevator and there was a black woman on the elevator...my daughter yanks on my hand to get my attention...and as I look at her she asks (rather loudly) why is that lady so dirty? I was so embarrassed...I explained to my daughter that God made everyone different, and that this woman just has darker skin than she did. My daughter was about 3 when this happened!
We were standing in a checkout line behind a man that had obviously just got off work from a very physical and dirty job. My son walked up behind him, looked at me and said "Mom, his butt stinks. He needs to take a bath." I wanted to crawl under something.
My daughter saw a grandma pushing her granddaughter in a stroller. She pointed and asked really loudly "Mommy, how could that old lady have a child?" :)
My twin boys at about 3 came out of the bathroom with my husband at Wal-Mart, they ran out of the bathroom screaming Momma! Momma! So everyone's attention was on them, they both yelled Daddy has a big one, I want one like him! I could have died!
We took our then 3 year old son to the pool in the summer where there were lots of women in bikinis .He yelled at the top of his little lungs "Look mommy boobies every where!"
My son's first melt down at a store. He wanted this toy that was for infants and I would not buy it. He started kicking and screaming so I picked him up and started walking out of the store. He kept reaching behind me yelling mommy, mommy I thought for sure someone was thinking I was trying to kidnap him
I was dating my bf and things were starting to get serious and I decided to introduce him to my son who was five at the time. We went to IHop for breakfast and I paid. When i gave the waitress the money he turned around and said you got to pay sometimes to or my mommy will leave you.
When my son was 3 (he is 12 now) he LOVED Barney. We were in Kroger, and a very large lady in a purple sweatsuit walked past us...you see where this is going...he yelled (and I mean YELLED!) "Ooh Mommy, it's Barney, it's Barney!!" and would not stop saying it and pointing. I apologized to her, and had to abandon the cart and leave the store because I was so mortified.
When I was putting groceries on the conveyor belt at the supermarket. I put down a bottle of wine and my son shouted "That's MOMMY's wine". I nearly died.
By the way: no I'm not a wino
Mine (3 years old)threw a knock down, drag out tantrum in church-in the center aisle!! ON MOTHER'S DAY! It was a point during the service when all the mother's were asked to stand up. My daughter wanted to go back up to the alter (all the kids were asked to come up during the sermon) My husband was working that day so it was especially mortifying! When in the car,I couldn't get her in her car seat and before that she got away from me in the parking lot. It was all very scary. She's never been that bad and hasn't since then!
