Is a birthday party for a 1 year old too young?
Answer:
They may be too advanced for him but what about the cousins and other realtives that will be attending? It's a place that you don't have to decorate or clean up afterwards!
Also, if you tell Wal-Mart bakery that it's their 1st birthday, they will give you a small cake with the purchase of a regular birthday cake for free. That'll give the little one their own to play in!
You are only one year old in your life once!! Might as well party it up!!!
I don't know what incredible pizza is but we have a Chuckie Cheese here in my area and I have been to quite a few 1 yr old's parties there and the birthday child had a blast. Go for it and have fun!
He won't even know what is going on. The first birthday party is more for the adults...your baby won't be able to fully enjoy an experience like Chuck E Cheese yet.
Not at all...my sister had her son's party there for both birthday's so far...his 1st and 2nd, he is 2.so he likes it so much!
It's actually really fun, I too have a little 2 year old and they love it, seeing the lights and all the other little kids...it's fun to see there face expressions.good luck and have a great time!
They are too advanced. A party for a 1 year old should be low-key. It's for the parents, really. The kid is clueless at that age.
I think they might be a little too advanced for a one year old. I think a baby's first birthday should be special and celebrated at home with family and friends. But that's just my opinion
Chuckie Cheeze is a pedophile hangout.
Have a party for yourself and family, celebrating having been parents for a year.
You deserve it.
Well, yes. But it's really not for him - here and now anyway. When he's older he'll look back at the pictures and love it! For right now, the family and friends should go and have a blast! And take lots of pictures!
I think it is. For the first birthday, invite some family to the house, give him his own small cake, strip him to a diaper, and take cute pictures while he smears icing all over himself. Save the Chuckie Cheese party for next year, when he'll be walking and talking. At 1, the party is more for you than him. Next year he'll be old enough to do more and interact verbally with his "guests".
Probably. The first birthday is more of a moment for the parents than for the child. He won't remember any of it. Have a party at home, invite your friends and take lots of pictures you can blackmail him with when he's a teenager (just kidding). Parties for a one year old are more for the adults than for the child. Enjoy it nonetheless.
NO of course u can have a party for him. he will never remember it but thats not the point - u will! bring a video camera show him when hes older! Your never 2 young for your own birthday party!!! u cant just ignore it just because he wont remember! one year olds are beginning to understand and will know that the party is for them(at the time) !! have fun!
A child is never to young to have a birthday party. I think that chuckie cheese is a great place for a birthday party for children at a young age. you might as well have as much fun with your child. So 1 years old is never to young
WE HAD OUR DAUGHTERS FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY AT OUR HOUSE IN THE BACKYARD, WE HAVE A BIG YARD, AND INVITED FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND EVERYONE HAD A GREAT TIME, AND ALL THE KIDS PLAYED IN THE YARD.
I personally would wait until the child was at least 3 or 4. The kid isn't going to remember it, and all the noise and flashing lights, other kids screaming, etc, will probably be too much stimulation which will result in an extremely cranky one year old.
A simple party at home with close friends and relatives is good enough.
I would have it at home w/ friends and family!
Have it at chuck E cheese when hes 4
A lot of places when you buy a birthday cake will make a small on e for the babys 1ST.
I let my lil girl have at the cake it was quite fun to watch her first taste of icing!! You might want to use a big bib and then put them straight into the bath though!
nope not at all its a good way for the child to learn kindness along with other things like school because every one shows him attentio or her srry i f i was rong lol
I think having a party at the park or in your back yard can be fun. I had my son's first birthday at the park with a Circus theme, lots of balloons and colorful streamers, cotton candy, stuff you find at the circus. I also had games with small prizes like a ring toss, duck pond ( real easy for the lil ones to play just pick up a rubber duck) And my sister did face painting which the kids love. What was nice is because it was at the park there was lots of space to run around and fresh air. If its warmer and you have older kids water balloons or water guns can be a fun thing to.
I would def say a pizza place or Chuckie Cheese is a bit much for a 1st birthday party.
I would have a small party at home and invite close friends and family.
Absolutely not too young. That is the best party for "everyone". As for the places, depends on how many older kids will be there. I love going to a childs 1st birthday.
Here in Hawaii they throw the hugest parties ever for kids turning 1! Yeah, really big parties. I'm talking 4 bounce-houses and like 130 people!
Back to your question, Chuckie Cheese could be a bit mature for your 1 year old. He won't be able to do anything there, and Chuckie may scare little kids.
Just try one in your house with family and close friends. That will be less chaotic for you and less stimulating for him.
Tell him Happy B-Day for me!
Just have a family/friend gathering at your house. They won't remember 1 yr old (but the pictures are nice). Save the outing for when he/she makes friends.
Yes... he will not get anything out of going to places like that yet. You should just have a family party at home.
I wasn't planning on having a party when my son turned 1, but my family insisted so we had a small affair at home. He had a lot of fun seeing his presents and eating cake for the first time, but he became VERY OVERWHELMED and needed a nap in the middle of dinner.
All the people, activity and lights could have the same effect on your son -- not to say you shouldn't do it, but be prepared if he needs an out or has a tantrum. You could recreate a similar setting at home - might not cost you as much either.
FYI: Some places, like the chain Zehrs in Canada, offer free cake for a first birthday celebration in case you're interested.
I had a party for my son when he turned 1 and my nephew had a party when he turned 1. But we didn't go anywhere. We just had a small party at home with immediate family members. It was nice.
I think it sounds like a great idea! enjoy the party. Even though your one year old may not remember it down the road, I think he'l have a good time now.
Yes..they are. He won't know what is going on. Have a small party with family at home, put up some balloons, serve some appetizers and a cake and take pictures.
its a waste of money to celebrate his birthday there. you're going to run yourself ragged chasing after him and any other children you invite. he's way too young for chuckie cheese. he'll be lost or run down by the bigger children. do something low key at the house with just family.
It's just too much for a 1 year old. He'll be wide eyed enough at the whole spetacle of cake & balloons. It's a nice chance for family and friends to see your and your baby, but keep it to a relaxed afternoon in the backyard. Give him a big ol' piece of cake to destroy and he'll be pleased as punch.
