My 2 year old is loosing her finger nail, its almost off but is still attached on one side.?

How can I help her get it off without causing her pain. It keeps getting caught on things and she crys. I tried a bandaid but she crys and pulls it off.

Answer:
Cut the part that's already off as closely as possible and file.

Don't forget to put some oxygenated water or other disenfectant on the exposed part of the finger.
TELL HER TO STOP BITING HER NAILS!! LOL SHE IS A CRYBABY TOO.
TAKE THAT CHILD TO THE DOCTOR!!!!!!
well you need to go back to the doctor and tell them that her nail keeps getting caught on things and see what the doctor say maybey he can give her something.
My 18 month old has her finger nail falling off too. It was almost off, so my mother used nail clippers and cut off as much as she could so it wouldn't get caught on anything. My daughter still has a sliver of the nail still attached to her finger, but has not complained of it hurting her.
