I have resently moved to Lodon and would love to babysit again , not really fro the money but more for the actual job ! I am extremely responsible, calm and patient . Do you know how if I could babysit and if so how should I go about doing so . Would anyone want me to babysit for them ! My parents are supporting me too ! So you could speak with them too just to bz sure of how I am and meet me !
If you don't think I can babysit what other jobs is there for a 13 year old to do aprt from a paper round .

Answer:
by law there is nothing for u to do, u cant be alone with children until u are 14 legally and then it would have to be ur brother and not babysitting.. be patient and dont try to be grown up before u have to, live ur life like a child and the rest will follow given time, if u want to work with children, think of the qualifications u need to do this when u are older, and even more mature...
only thing is under the table jobs
Saturday assistant in a hairdressers, that's what I did. I think you need a permit from the council now though at your age.
A PAPER ROUND LEGALLY
baby sit (though you are too young despite your maturity)

paper round
car cleaning
general odd jobs
dog walking
shopping jobs
delivering free papers and junk mail
I'm sure you are responsible. Personally, I wouldn't let you babysit my child until you are at least 15, but that's just me. A good way to get clientele is to put an ad in the newspaper or post flyers in your neighborhood.
There is not much more a 13 year old can do.
I'm not 100% sure but I think that you may have to be 14 before you can babysit but you only have a few months to go.

It's good to see that even at your young age you are willing to earn your own money instead of relying on your parents.
Do the local advertise from newspapers,at churchfor babysit job,do tutoring after school for K-3,my daughter is 10 years old and she earn little money from help the younger with their homework.Good Luck
Ask around. Lots of people would love to have a good babysitter. As long as you charge reasonably. :P
How about 'sitting' with the elderly as well?
Some older people need someone for a few hours now and then to do small chores, read to them, go for walks with them so they feel safer, all kinds of things.
You might even be able to help them learn simple computer skills and other mechanics that will increase their independence and enjoyment of life.
Put up posters for babysitting anywhere that allows you to post. Put an ad in paper also (some are willing to do for free).

Also, you can offer your assistance to the elderly. Pick up their mail, shovel driveways, mow the lawn, pick up their groceries, etc.

But most 13.5 year olds are too young, and it's illegal to hire anyone under the age of 14 or 15 for "real" jobs.

Good luck!!
mac donalds
you arent legally allowed to supervise any child until you are 16yrs old, best job would be a paper round legally
I think it is really difficult these days to do things like paper rounds with safety and being out early on your own etc.
Why don't you try addressing envelopes, get paid so much for the quantity you do - it is safer, indoors and you can fit it around school.
(It can be a bit boring but the '£'s' should be an incentive!)
Check out your local papers the ad. is usually there.
Certainly ask neighbours especially the elderly, they have such hassles carrying shopping, mowing the lawn, washing ground floor windows etc. and the best thing about helping out the elderly is you find out some great info. about their lives when they were young.
Can't really think of anything else but good luck and really hope you get something good that pays decent.
p.s oh! and dog walking!
Most grocery stores and fast food restaurants hire at around 13 or 14. Ask around.
paper round or milk round
