Mac & Cheese?

Well, I have often wondered the same thing. I'M NOT ALONE!
I have a daughter(9). She has never liked any kind of cheese. She doesn't like butter.
When I do make Mac N Cheese...she likes me to save her noodles before I mix it all together. Heck, I dunno...
The doc says its normal. I swear che is the pickiest kid in the world but she's always been like that.

actually, yes! one of the children i babysat for over the summer didn't like cheese.. so he wouldn't eat mac and cheese.

My husband hates it...he has since he was a kid. I think it's wierd but I still married him.

Yep-my younger brother! he will only eat it if I make it (my parents always made it too mushy). lol But, my parents are picky, and so are all of us kids... we won't eat hamburgers with anything on them. Same with tacos-just the meat! A lot of it thought is my parents fault- didn't show us enough foods, so we won't eat anything at all. now that i'm grown up and have a kid of my own, I hate that. I wish I liked more foods... my husband does, so I am doing my best at introducing allll kinds of foods to my son. yes, he even likes mac and cheese so far! lol
Yes I have. Taste buds are very personal and they react differently to the same foods. You may think this food is wonderful but someone else may find it too mushy or too salty for their individual taste buds. Sometimes we have to "grow into" liking certain flavors or textures. Don't try to force a child to eat anything they don't like but do ask questions like, what is it about this food you don't like. It may be as varied as texture, color or intensity of flavor. I personally did not like fish as a child but my children ate even sardines as young as at the age of three, no two people are alike when it comes to taste buds.
mine dont they are 4 and 13 and they hate it they dont like the cheese sauce they will eat pasta though
well my child is so crazy sometime like today he will love it and by tomorrow hate it.

That's definetly not something you hear all the time. My kid loves it and so do my nieces and nephews in fact one of them thats all he wants to eat, that or of course a healthy serving of candy.
Oh my goodness, Never have I met a child that Does Not like Mac&Cheese. My 8 yr old still lives on it. My 2 yr. old and My 1 yr. old love it to, That is very rare.
My sister. She can't stand the stuff. I love it personally, but she hates it, and she can't stand the smell of grilled cheese sandwiches. Hmm.
thats insane i figured it was theoreticly possible but i didnt expect it to happen. i mean WOW 300,000,000 people in the us thats like only 2 kids in the whole country that dont like mac and cheese . i mean who the hell wont eat mac n cheese? you came across a strang kid they should be on riplys or something.
my god child only liks the white cheddar kind nott he regual KD.. and my son will not eat it without some ketchup.. It ain't what it use to be when i was a kid...lol
Yes, there are a number of children I know who do not like mac and cheese. I have been a daycare provider in my home for 20 years. Seems like I always have at least one in the bunch that won't eat mac and cheese. My youngest daughter would only eat the macaroni if I didn't put cheese on it for a long time when she was little. She is 9 now and will eat my home made mac and cheese, but isn't that crazy about the boxed kind. It has been my experience that most kids do like it.
My kids LOVE it.
