How to avoid my little baby can get diarrhea?
Answer:
Breast feeding is the best way to help your child avoid and overcome illness. If you are formula feeding then just be sure to give plenty of liquids. Also try the B.R.A.T. diet...bannanas, rice, applesauce, toast. Feed him only those foods, plus lots of liquids.
also, when you feed him, make sure that his bottles are COMPLETELY clean, clean from excess old milk, soap that you used to wash it...this can cause frequent diarrhea in small children
I would try what your doctor suggested first. It won't go away over night. If he gave you medication be sure to give it to the baby exactly what the bottle says no more, no less. It will depend on the cause of the diarrhea as to how long it will take to go away. there's a thing that kids can get called chronic diarrhea which means they have bouts of it often until they reach a certain age. both my kids had it. It is not pleasant but you learn to deal with it.
Also, while he is having the diarrhea make sure to change him often so he doesn't get the diaper rash "burn" associated with diarrhea. Good luck! Follow the doctor's recommendations and ask what else you can do as to feeding. etc.
better food!! easy as that
Sterilise everything that he uses.. and the water too.
How much juice is your baby drinking per day? Too much juice may be upsetting his stomach. Apple, grape, and white grape juice is especially acidic and can be too much for your babys system to handle.
Sterize every thing going into his mouth, bottles passifier, spoons , to kill off any bacteria or virus. Also make sure food is being stored at proper temperature and has't been left open in the fridge for more than 48 hours.
