What are some good nutritious foods to feed a 2 year old?

I am having problems getting my kids to eat anything that is healthy i need some ideas on some healthy foods that they might eat .

Answer:
Seems like all children love pasta. Try whole grain pasta with sauce or even with just some olive oil and parmessan, my niece and nephew love the stuff. Apples with low-fat, low-sugar caramel sauce is a good idea, or use yogurt as a dip. Low-fat cheese sticks, baby carrots with dip, even the pre-packaged whole wheat crackers with peanut butter on them are good for a child. To get them to eat sandwiches use large cookie cutters to make them into shapes. Or one thing that never fails for my family: peel a banana, spread a little peanut butter on it, and let the kids "decorate" it with raisins. Quaker makes a good chewy, low-fat granola bar that's a good choice too. Good luck.

For breakfast, try the whole grain frozen waffles (low fat, high fiber), use fruit spread (sugar free) or splenda sweetened pancake syrup, or even cool whip works because it's basically sweetened air LOL. For desserts in our family, we sometimes have "Banana splits" with sugar free prepared pudding (either at home or store bought) or storebought low-fat frozen yogurt, then give 'em some fat-free cool whip and sprinkles to pile on. They'll have so much fun decorating they won't notice that it's low fat, low sugar and that you've been sneaky with the fruit and calcium.
My 3 yr old has a picky eating

So we tried this; If we make a ham & chesse sandwhich we put a smiliy face in ketchup on it (her fav. ketchup)

diced bannanas in a chocolate sauce, diced apples in a carmel dipping sauce/ peanut butter.

If all else fails she will nibble on something we give her a pediasure then you know she is getting her nutrion.
Good Luck
Give foods with a healthy dipping sauce, like salsa, guacamole, fruit puree, or yogurt.
take pieces of fruit like watermellon, grapes (make sure to peel them or cut them in half), apple slices (dipping them in orange juice or lemon juice will keep them from turning brown) Mango, pineapple chuncks. and make faces or other things and make it fun. Also works for veggies.

Also kids that age like finger food. So take and cut up meat and stuff that is neat for them and let them pick it up and eat it. some good examples are porkchops, brestmeat of chicken or turkey,

Make sandwiches and cut them in shapes using cookie cutters. or cut them in to four pieces instead of in half.

Add some Ovaltine Nesquick or some type of flavoring to milk, use milk in cooking make cream of tomatoe soup in stead of tomatoe soup by adding milk instead of water to condenced soups.

Also you can try hiding healthy stuff, like if your child will not eat carrots try making a vegetable soup and put half (make sure more carrots are in it) in the blender and blend away those carrots.

Or get the kids involved in prepairing the snack or or growing vegetables.
