Where can I find hooked on phonics on CD not on tape it's 2007 knowbody uses tapes anymore.?
Answer:
ebay has them
Try Amazon or Target. They still carry stuff on tape. Or look in your local directory for a School/Education store. Many teachers still use tapes so they should carry that. Good luck.
"knowbody" probably has a tape player the she can play the tape on. my husband's van has a tape player in it. my stereo in my bedroom has a tape player. Hec, my parents have a turn table and don't even own a CD player.
Hooked on Phonics may be great (I'm sure it is).
Another option you may want to consider is a movie that is put out by Leap Frog. There is one for phonics (Leap Frog Talking Letter Factory) and one for words (Talking Words Factory). I found mine at my local Wal-Mart.
My son knew all his alphabet recognizing by sight and the sound they made when he was 2. I would sit down with him with his wooden alphabet puzzle while he was watching it and talk about the letters. At 5 (he hasn't started school yet either) he can spell and read simple words that don't have exceptions to the rules!
