My baby is all of the sudden having problems breastfeeding. help?

my boy is a month and 12 days old. he was always breastfeeding fine. Couple of days ago he started actign strange. He'll breastfeed fine for about 10 minutes. then he starts pullign of the breast and crying and imidiatlly latches back on and right away pulls of and starts screaming, and keeps doing that for the rest of the feed. what can be wrong? if something was wrong wouldn't he be doing that from the begging of the feed. why does he feed fine at first and then gets so fussy. he also strated making weird noises at night, like he is clearign his throut all the time. shoudl i be worries. took him to the doc the can't explain whats goign on with the little guy. i can't bare to watch him suffer like this,

Answer:
take him to the DR.Does he was thrush
Something that you've eaten or drank could be upsetting his stomach. The baby could have thrush (check his mounth for white patches or inflamed gums), or the baby might be sucking for comfort and not to eat, so try a pacifier maybe.
I BF the last 3 of my 5 children and they've all done something like this at one point or another, and it's hard to see them so upset I know. Just hanf in there, and know that you're doing the absolut best for your baby by nursing him...keep it up.
talk to a pediatrician. He may have an ear infection or something that is causing him to be unable to remain latched on for long periods of time.
It could also be gas.
You definitely need to see his doc tho
It sounds like you are in a transitioning. Your body sometimes takes a little time to produce more milk as your baby needs it. I would continue trying to nurse and make sure he takes both sides at each feeding, that way your body will adjust to meet his needs. If it keeps up, I would contact your doctor.
did they check his ears? if they didn't make sure they do. if not seek other advice from another pediatrician. he also may be colicky or your milk production might be slow to build up keep trying on both breast and don't give up. Good Luck!!
I went through the same thing. I was advised to cut dairy out of my diet completely, which I did, and that didn't help. I eventually had to stop breast feeding. She ended up being an extreme case of colic, which the doctors couldn't help with either. They make a tummy soother that you can find in the baby isle at walgreens or possibly at your supermarket. It's all natural. I would prompt the doctor to find out if there are any digestive problems. The clearing of the throat sound you are hearing is very odd. I would report that right away to your pediatritian. It could also be something you are eating that is upsetting him. They can get finicky about taste. We tried every formula under the sun and the only one that she would take (meaning not throw up after) was called Alimentum, specifically for babies with sensativities. The downfall to that is that it costs over $25 per can. Good luck!
Ask your doctor about Mylicon drops. You can buy them OTC. They may help.
He may have thrush in his throat and it could hurt when he swallows. Or with the way he pulls back, it sounds like you may not be producing enough. Make sure you make an appointment foryourself, as well as the baby to make sure you are making enough milk.
Try burping him a couple times a feeding, not just at the end. It could be gas, or an ear infection or thrush. But if you took him to the doctor I am sure they checked for all that. Gas drops and burping a couple times a feeding I would suggest.
Did they check his ears for an ear infection? Both of my boys did that when they had ear infections because it hurt to suck.
Check what you are eating. Is there something new that you haven't eaten before? I would suggest burping him after he comes off a few times. Get that bubble out. I would also suggest the dr check for thrush. Good luck
Assuming you tried burping him it could be he's noticing the difference in the milk. The milk at the beginning of each feeding is thicker with more fat to handle their nutritional needs the second half of the feeding is thinner and works to help keep them hydrated. There could be a different taste he's objecting to. Whole milk tastes different from skim more or less. That's my best guess baring any medical condition. Good luck
