Kids got ahold of sharpe.?
What do I do!!!!!!!
Answer:
They joys of parenthood!! Alcohol works.
my son has done this before and you can try rubbing alcohol or let it wear off on it's own. good luck.
i would get them in the bath and all pray hairspray and all also and that would might take some off
Wash them off in the bathtub and pay more attention to them next time. Just hope the ink doesn't seep into their bloodstream and kill their brain cells.
Get off the computer and watch them. Hee hee.
aahhh! i remember those days!! It does come off, eventually...the hair I would let wash out and I think a little nail polish remover carefully wiped on hands and immediately washed off with soap should get their hands clean.otherwise, I hope your x-mas pictures are done!
Expo markers work. I have found the color red works well. Write your new scribbles over their old scribbles, then wash it off with water.
The basic Mr Clean spong is gentle and will help remove the marker... most of it.
In the safe way for children use soap.alcohol are acids it might be dangerous.scrub it every bath time with soap...it might take a day or two...
When I was a kid, we had this kids show called "Zebo The Clown". Part of the show was where a kid would make some scribbles on a large peice of paper and Zebo would turn it into an animal, person, house, etc.
Maybe you could add to their artwork and make it real art?
Like constipation, this too will pass. Don't super scrub. Wash what you can and eventually it will be gone.
Wanna guess what is next? The HAIRCUT. We moved to a new neighborhood (and school). My darling daughters gave each other a haircut. We had to go to a salon to try and fix. Only thing possible was a very short punk style cut. They got labeled by teachers and staff on their first day at the new school.
Parenting - Now remind me, why did we have kids? :)
PS: Schoolot: Was the alcohol for removing the marker or drinking?
try finger nail plish remover that is odor free also after that give your child a bath with baby oil in it to sooth the childs skin
lol...a classic inocent child thing to do. Nothing to worry or stress about..it's not a big deal. The ink will eventually come off, there is no need to rub your poor child raw tryong to get it off of her tho. The ink is not harming her at all...but would harm her is you do apply all sorts of toxic things on her just to try and get rid of the marks. All kids do this..after a few baths, she will be free of marks..no worries.
go get hand cleaner like goop or the orange one from a auto part store
Do Not Use Finger Nail Polish Remover. Even the none scented ones. Just because you can't smell it doesn't mean the chemicals are not getting into your lungs.
Acetone is a poison and can be absorbed into the skin.
Rubbing alcohol works best. Nothing will get Sharpie out all the way. Only Time but the rubbing alcohol will do the best job.
Treat the kids in a well ventilated area and use a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol. Do not rub at the skin too much. Since rubbing alcohol dries the skin, put a little bit of lotion on the areas treated to prevent dryness.
Let it wear off..it will eventually with regular bathing. Who hasnt seen a child with marker written all over them..i think its funny..kinda cute. Heck sometimes my husband does the writing LOL
as crazy as it sounds WD-40 works well to take it off everything as well as nail polish remover
Either call the doctor or call poison control. tell them what happened and ask what they recommend. I wouldn't add any chemicals until you talk to a professional.
I am a mother of 3 hectic handfuls. Mine haven't done sharpies yet but I can't seem to keep toothpaste in the house.lol!
Have you tried Mr.Clean wipes? IT works for everything.
