Miscarriage Chances?
Answer:
I have PCOS.. Its usually makes it harder to concieve with PCOS. I had three miscarraiges and eventually after 9 years went on to have a healthy pregnancy. Are you on Metformin? That supposedly helps with getting pregnant and sustaining the pregnancy. Alot of women with PCOS also need progesterone once pregnant to sustain the pregnancy. I wish you luck
We're in a different generation than our mothers, so kick back and relax a bit.
Your condition may create an increased risk of a miscarriage, but you'll be monitored very closely and there are SO many more things they can do for you now that they couldn't do for your mother.
Her pregnancies won't be your pregnancies. Every woman and every pregnancy is different, so keep that in mind.
If you think you can handle the emotional stress that might result from a miscarriage, my advice to you is that a baby is worth the risk. You'll never know such joy.
Calm down. Miscarrying, is not inherited. It's only a matter of life. So your mother's multiple miscarriages have no effect on you.
there is absolutely no reason why your chances should be affected by your mother. i am 15 weeks pregnant and had a miscarriage 2 years ago and the reason diagnosed was blighted ovum - just an abnormal egg. so try not to worry!
PCOS treatment; and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. The cost is very low and the medical services are very good in India.
My cousin and her husband got their IVF treatment in India through the Forerunners Healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is a known case of PCOS.She is a very happy mother of a baby boy now. She just paid 2500 pounds for the full IVF treatment in India for which she was quoted 8000 pounds in private setup in UK.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. I read a lot about them in the newspapers. I have also read about a Chinese couple who planned surrogacy through the Forerunners Healthcare. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery and infertility treatment like IVF, IUI, and ICSI abroad for low price. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery and treatment can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
