I've come off the pill cilest, does it take long to get pregnant after being on it for 8 years?

Depends on the person, some people it takes only two or three months. Others it can take up to a year.
Generally for all oral contraceptives it takes about 3 months...I was off mine for about 3 months exactly after being on them for about a year when I got preggers sooo I believe the 3 month rule.

It really depends on you. I was on it for 10 years and became pregnant qith my first the first month and this time round again. I used Acon ovulation tests to aim properly.

Depends on the person, but i was on cilest for 9 years and got pregnant right away, think i just hit it at the right time. (I kept my legs up in the air for ages after intercourse, convinced this is why!) good luck.
Depends how old are you for a start and do you know the ins and out of timing etc. I came of the pill after being on it for 5 years and have been trying for 2 years now I did manger once but lost the baby at 8 weeks don't mean to scare you or anything. Just relax get on with life and enjoy trying and don't look to far into it. the good news is my friend after trying to get pregnant for 3 years (also on pill for about 3 years) got pregs but lost at 5 weeks is now 5 months pregs with a very active and healthy girl good luck
I have also been out of the pill and as well trying and keeping finger cross, I was told it might takes one or couple of months or a year. I will say keep timing when you are ovulating, and keep your finger cross. children are the reward of marriage.
Fertility differs from woman to woman but I got pregnant the first month after coming off the oral pill and the first month after coming off the Injection (depo-provera) so sometimes it can happen straight away. I had not been on either of those contraceptives as long as 8 years though...im not sure if that makes any difference? Most Docs will tell you that you should conceive within the first year of trying but for many women (like myself) it happens way before that!! Goodluck
I have just come off the same pill and i'v been trying for 4 months and had no luck yet i no they say that's not long but it seems for ever when waiting to see if your period is going to come this month.remember everyone is different good luck!!
