I went through in-vitro fertilization and it did work on the first try. I took tons of shots to make me produce a lot of eggs. Once they were mature, the doctor retrieved the eggs and fertilized them with my husbands sperm. Two of the best fertilized eggs were implanted and one "took". I did loose the baby at 15 weeks though. I don't think that was because I have in-vitro, I think it just happened.. every child that is born is truly a miracle!!
