20 day cycle and pregnancy?
Answer:
with a 20 day cycle you might have what is called a short luteal phase, which means that your period starts 10 days or less after you ovulate. If this is the case you will be able to get pregnant, but you'll probably miscarry every time because your body will break down the lining of the uterus before implantation can take place. A way to test this is to chart your basal temp. take your temp 1st thing in the morning before you do anything else. then count the days after you have a rise in your temp to the first day of your period, if it is 10 days or lest, take the chart and show it to your dr. there are meds that can easily fix this problem and allow you to carry your baby.

Go there and type in your information. It'll show you your most fertile days, when you ovulate.
Good luck and remember to relax and have fun. Baby making sex is the best.
Of course you can get pregnant on a 20 day cycle - you just have to take the shorter cycle into consideration when figuring out your ovulation period.
As long as you are ovulating then you are able to get pregnant. For most cycles you ovulate 14 days before your next period is due. However this would make it quite early on in a 20 day cycle and so is probably different. I would get an OPK which will help determine when you ovulate, or try taking your basal body temp.
It doesn't matter how long your cycle is, as long as you're releasing that egg you can become pregnant!
