Not everyone women ovulates on day 14. This is the case for me so I didnt get my positive hpt until I was almost 2 weeks late. I took one when I was just a week late but turns out since I ovulated late, I wasnt really late yet. Ya know?

Are you trying to get pregnant because if so you shouldn't be stressed out you should relax now if you don't wanna get pregnant then you should just wait until you about 2 weeks because if you do it too earlier the test will come back neg because of a low percentage of hcg.when i got pregnant i missed my period and i just knew i was pregnant because i never missed a period before but just wait a while and then try again,goodluck.
My pregnancy test showed negative 10 days after ovulation but at 14 days after ovulation it was positive.
I just had the same exact problem as you, only thing different was that i was 6 days late and too preg. test and were neg. well i just stopped thinking about it and today i got my period, so if you are stressed about anything, or actually since you just stopped your pills that can all change your hormones.
Yes, I've gone through the annoyance of not knowing whether I was just a little late, or pregnant. The only thing you can do is wait. Your idea of waiting until Monday is a good idea, and this time try testing in the afternoon. For some reason, mine showed up better in the afternoon than morning, like my morning pee was more watered down or something. Good luck, and just try to stay patient (I know it's hard).
It could be stress, or wanting to be pregnant so bad. Wait another week and test.
