Since trying for a baby, my period pains have gotten worse. Also, I feel increasingly naucious. Mid 20s, y?

Answer:
I would go to the doctor and just get a general check-up, to make sure you're well and fighting fit. I'd also take a multi-vitamin with folic acid, just in case. It's a really good precaution for a healthy baby even taken before conception. If you haven't already done so, quit drinking and smoking.

Talk to your doctor about your period pains... it could be that you're disappointed each time your period arrives, and that the stress of this is making the pain worse. There's quite a different sensation of pain when you're glad to see it, rather than when it's crushing your hope for that month.

Good luck, and I hope you feel better! Live as healthy as you can, I hope it will all come right...
Have you recently come off the pill? If so your hormones are likely to be all over the place and this can be making you feel queasy- plus periods are a picnic whilst on the pill compared to how they would usually be.
Cramps and Nashua Sounds like your pregnant to me! Are you just cramping or are you actually getting your period? If just cramping that can be caused by the egg implanting to the uterus or your uterus growing rapidly Good Luck!
I suggest you go see your doctor. Get a check-up and make sure everything is ok. This is always a good idea anyhow before trying to get pregnant.
If your trying then its likely that you have possibly stopped any precautions which would be the likely reason for your periods becoming heavier and more painful.also you say you feel sick, do you mean when you are due on? If you are overdue and feel sick perhaps you should do a test!!
Well if your still trying for a baby then obviously these arent symptoms indicating pregnancy if you have them each month. It may just be PMT worsening. I'm not sure why it would become worse, you'd have to see your doctor but I have experienced changes over the years in the way PMT effects me. I used to have bad period pain & long periods as I got older (early 20's) the pain was worse & I had tummy upset on 1st day sometimes as well as feeling very down, bloated & spots got worse. I went to the doc in the end about pain & explained tummy probs as well. He said it was normal & the hormones during your period can give you upset stomach & just to use imodium or something similar (to stop going to the loo too much!) Now I'm in my late 20's they have changed again as the symptoms have lessoned a lot. I have heard of people also who have begun experiencing PMT in 20's / 30's after never having it. Hope this, even if not much help, gives an insight into how our bodies can change all the time.
