I got pregnant the first time after being off the pill for one month. the second time I got pregnant two weeks after not taking the pill. I have been on it for 9 years except when pregnant and I also had irregular periods. Good luck
Every person is different. You just have to know when you ovulate (ovalation tests for that) and let nature takes its course from there. It can be very frustrating and make take a few months or so. They don't consider doing tests on you to check for infertility until you have tried for a year unsuccessfully.
Medical experts say that as soon as you go off the pill you can get pregnant straight away. I've known lots of people who have conceived very quickly after going off the pill. Other people say it's taken a couple of years but i wonder if it is because of the pill or because that's how long it would take them anyway. If you are prepared to get pregnant straight away then it would be a good idea to go off the pill now.
