This is my first month of being off birth control pills and trying to get pregnant.?
Answer:
dont use them
Just keep banging away your boyfriend/husband is loving it.
If you recently came off of the pill it can take your body anywhere from 1 month to 6 months to regulate itself again. It depends on how long you were on the pill, the type of pill and some other factors.
I was late 2 days. I am currently in the same situation. I've been off since the beginning of November. Currently waiting to find out if AF is going to visit this month or if I will be expecting a little one. It's hard waiting!
ok... so you just got off BC and are trying to get pregnant? If so it will prob take atleast a couple months. The BC usually does not just disappear out of your system esp. if you have been on it for a while. You are prob late because you are off the pills. Keep trying...but if you don't get preggers for a while don't worry. It can take up to a year for a lot of women...actually everyone I have every known.
It can vary quite a bit because your body hasn't had a chance to regulate yet. You won't really know when to expect your period until you have gone through a few cycles. I went from an exact 28 day cycle to a 34 day cycle, so it can vary quite a bit. At the same time, if you tried to get pregnant this month, there is always a chance that you are pregnant. Contrary to popular belief, you should try to get pregnant immediately after going off the pill--while taking a prenatal vitamin of course--because you experience a surge in fertility right after you go off. Many docs will tell you to wait for a few reasons--the pill can interfere with folic acid absorption, but if you take it, it shouldn't be a problem, AND, the biggest reason is because without a regular cycle, they won't be able to pinpoint conception dates and due dates if you get pregnant within a few months of going off the pill.
It's hard to say. The pill really messes with some people's periods. And dont believe people who say you can't get pregnant for 3 months after going off of the pill. I have gotten pregnant within a month after going off the pill not once but TWICE!
TRY ANOTHER TEST IN A WEEK. YOU COULD JUST BE LATE BECAUSE YOU WENT OF THE PILLS. IT TOOK ME A YEAR TO GET PG AFTER GOING OFF THE PILL. BUT KNOW THAT'S NOT THE SAME FOR EVERYONE. GOOD LUCK TO YOU.
I stopped taking birth control to have my second child. I got pregnant in the second month from when I stopped. I wasn't late with my period the first month. The second month I was so that is what prompted me to take a test and it was positive.
Wait a few more days and take another test if you don't start your period.
I stopped taking my pills in July and haven't had a "regular" period since. And I'm still not pregnant. Don't give up hope, but you'd be very lucky if you were already pregnant. Get ready to take a million preg. test. Don't stress, just keep trying =)
i haven't had it done but my sister in law was on the pill for about 4 or 5 years she got off of ot and in 3 months she got pg. Again she got on in for about a year and than 3 months after getting off of it again she was pg again.
I hope that there is a husband in the picture instead of a boyfriend! If it is only a boyfriend, you shouldn't be trying to get pregnant.
I quit taking my birth control pills in July and went from having 28 day cycles to 34, then to 45, and I haven't gotten my period now for almost 2 months, but says I am not pregnant. It takes awhile for your body to adjust, but I had been on them for about 9 years! Good luck!
