Prometrium does not cause ovulation, it only causes you to menstruate and sluff off the lining of your uterus by increasing your progesterone levels and tricking your body into thinking it is time to menstruate and subsequently you can start your cycle over again. More than likely if you are not menstruating than you are not ovulating so you will need to take something like Clomid to lower your estrogen levels and increase you LH, GnRH, and FSH levels to induce ovulation. If you are having problems with ovulation than taking prometrium by itself will have no impact on that and will do nothing to increase your chances of conceiving.
However, if you have been ovulating on your own or sporadically than there is always the chance that you will become pregnant; While it is not likely while you are on the prometrium, it could happen.
