How long after a miscarriage can conception occur?

It varies for everyone. From 2 weeks to 1 month or even upto 2 months for some. Women are most fertile after a miscarriage and also after a birth. Doctors will recommend that you try to wait 3 months though.
I know from very personal experience that it can happen VERY soon after! I had a miscarriage on July 1, 2002 and then found out on July 28th that I was pregnant again. My dates were so close together that my pregnancies technically overlapped! When I got a positive test no one, no even the doctor knew if it was a new pregnancy or hcg lingering from the first one!
In my case conception was less than 2 weeks after miscarriage. He's 3.5 now!
There is not time limit! u can get pregnant in less than a month! but is is recommended to wait at least 6 months, to get pregnant again!! I hope this helps you!!
