Sensitivity to smells?
Answer:
It is usually a sign that you are pregnant..
What it means is that thing that you smell, the scent will be about 10 times stronger. You will be able to smell someones stinky perfume from across the room, if there is a food that makes you feel sick, stay AWAY!it will be a stronger scent and make you sick..
I had this problem with my first pregnancy, but not my second.
Good luck!
yes and yes!
something smells fishy around here....
It comes whenever during pregnancy, or it might not come at all. Things smell stronger and worse. It's caused by the added horomones.
stonger then usual.. I had problems by about 6 weeks pg with my first.
It got so bad the smell of cooking food or heavy perfume would make me vomit (or dry heave). I had to order out all my food so I wouldn't smell it before I started eating.
The "bionic smell" can come and stay duringg any time durin pregnancy. Sensitivity, during pregnancy, being ultra perceptive to scents. No, the scents aren't stronger, but your nose is stronger and it seems that way.
I've noticed it even before I've missed my period. Things smell stronger, so you notice them more quickly, and because it's a stronger odor sometimes it's bothersome. But worse is things that smell different. For instance, the smell of coffee early in pregnancy usually turns my stomach. Some normally good smelling things all of a sudden will make you feel sick.
It can come early on in your pregnancy and stay there the entire time!! Yesterday some of my co-workers were eating chinese food with shrimp in it ( and I LOVE shrimp ) and I felt like I was going to A) break out in hives and B) get sick from the smell. I still have a couple of days to go before I find out if I am with child but I do know that when my sister was pregnant, her favorite perfume all the sudden smelled disgusting to her and she never used it again in life.
