? about trying to get pg?

which is better, getting your tubes untied or doing inverto? ( hope it's spelled right) and why do you think it is. no smart a** ok thank you

Answer:
Your tubes untied usually has a 50/50 chance of possibility. It just depends whether you were cauterized or tied. Tubes tied usually has a better success rate than a cauterized tube (usually done in older tubes that were tied) invitro can be a best option if you want better chance of success. If money is not a factor, I would try untying your tubes first and if that doesn't work try invitro. Good luck. I hope things work out.
Well invitro would be quite expensive and it might take a few tries before it worked, so that could end up costing a ton. Seems like getting a tubal reversal would be cheaper. Just depends on how much money you have really.
if the only factor in infertility was a tubal ligation done in the past, then i would suggest a tubal recanalisation. then too the success of recanalisation is higher in laparoscopic ligations than in mini-lap, or post-partum ligations. the success also depends on the period elapsed after ligation, with the more the period the bleaker the chance of success would be. recanalisation has to be confirmed by hysterosalpingography around 6 months after procedure to confirm patency. pregnancy is not assured after surgery.
in-vitro fertilisation does not guarantee 100 % success, just as recanalisation. you may need many cycles of therapy to get pregnant. ultimately the choice has to be yours after considering pro & cons of both. i would suggest IVF in presence of multiple factors. good luck.
IVF is more successful (about 60% vs 40%), but tubal reversal means you can try on your own... If money were no object, I would go for IVF.
