Usually you count from the day that you got it so it would be the first day. If you started last month just say on the 10Th of November then, you would say that you were suppose to start on the 10TH of December. Could there be a chance that your pregnant again? I have had 5 miscarriages and when ever you have a miscarriage and especially if you have had a dnc you are very fertile afterward. I have 4 kids now and 1 more on the way .When I had my third miscarriage I wanted a baby right away after that and my husband and I tried again and I got pregnant 2 months later. Do you think that you may be pregnant again? If so then you should take another pregnancy test just to be on the safe side. Good luck to you.

My doctor told me to count the first day of bleeding in a m/c as cycle day 1.
Most women will carry on with their cycle like normal and ovulate that same month. I always ovulated like normal right afterwards, except after the one where I had a D&C...that one screwed up my cycle for a few months.

Im so sorry for your loss. Hope that you have had people around to support you. I also miscarried at 6 weeks, and I bled for 5 days after that. I havent had a period since. So im not entirely sure. The only thing I do know, is that you will get tonnes of supprot on this site., Obviously you have to take the medical advice with a pinch of salt, although people are trying their best to help you, only a true medically trained person can advise you. I hope that you get the answers that you need and that you are able to get some comfort here. I also hope that you in time, can cope with your loss.

I miscarried at 9 weeks. My period returned about 6 weeks after i lost the baby so about 5 weeks after i finished bleeding but i am sure that everyone is different!
Speak to your GP or phone NHS Direct. They might be able to give you more sound info

I normally have a 28 day cycle. After my m/c started, my period came 33 days later. My doctor said your 1st period after the m/c usually starts between 4 & 6 weeks after the m/c. Hope that helps.
I am sorry about your m/c. I have had several and my period always returned about 4 weeks after the m/c. Don't give up hope. I have two babies now. M/C is painful and sad. Take good care of yourself.
