Which is more common: vasectomy or tubectomy?

Is it compulsory for both d partners 2 be vasectomized n tubectomized?
Or its necessary only for one of d partners either woman 2 b tubec. or male 2 b vasect.?

Answer:
Either vasectomy or tubectomy or both can be done in family planning.
Tubectomy is more common.
Well, I guess the former is probably the more common... Because my wife's mother always says I am common and even I have heard of vasectomy...! - whereas tubectomy is a new one on me.
vasectomy for male or tubal for woman
vasectomy should be us women go thru enough with labour its time your men did sumat!
It's not necessary for either. It's a matter of personal choice.
My husband knows alot of men that had it done. I know alot of females that have. So I guess it just depends. Sometimes the couple chooses the man to (easier surgery). Some women have it done to be sure no more babies will come (cut and burnt). I know a few couples that both had it done to be extra sure. My husband had it done, now reversed. When its that time again, he's offered to get done again. I think more women do it just because women are more concerned with being sure they are done having kids (when they choose to) and birth control. I've heard of alot of guys that are scared to get snipped. They think their balls will get cut off or it will take away from their manhood.
A vasectomy is a more common and less invasive procedure. To have a tubal is surgery. I worked for an OBGYN doctor and he always talked to the husbands about a vasectomy, because it is an in office procedure vs. the wife staying in the hospital over night. Also there are ways to test to see if the vasectomy worked or not. That is by taking a sample in for a few months after the procedure. With a tubal there is no way of testing to see if it worked or not. Only way to tell is if they come up pregnant. I don't think that is a chance most women want to take. It's not necessary for both partners to have this done. Good luck.
