Normally I answer and don't ask, but here it goes, I have five boys, not much luck with every method for girls

I have one shot left and don't plan on wasting it. Boy five will be born in April and I am getting back in the saddle to go for that girl. Does anyone know of sperm spinning? The legitimacy of it, the accuracy? etc. (Of course I could just do my own research, but listening to all of you is so much more fun and interesting.) talk to me, I'll talk back.

Answer:
i heard that it is a better chance for poeple trying to conceive a girl. this website is where i read it yesterday. hope this helps. i am trying for the boy after 2 girls so i know how you feel. good luck
I have heard it is terribly expensive but it does INCREASE your chance of the desired sex. I have ready it is about 80% for desired sex...but that still means 2 out of every 10 women don't get the sex they were paying so much to try to get.

If you can afford to do it...then it certainly does up your odds - but you have to be accepting that you may just be destined to be a mom to boys...or consider adopting a little girl.
instead of adding more people to an already overcrowded planet, why don't you adopt a little girl?
Can't say for sure that this works, but it seemed to work for me.
They say "male" sperm swims faster. But that "female" sperm lives longer, so try having sex within the 3 days before you ovulate.
This is something someone told me awhile ago. I wanted a girl for my 3rd child (already had 2 boys), so I tried this and I have a little girl. Coincidence??

Not sure if this is what kind of response you were looking for.
I agree that you can always adopt a little girl... there are plenty out there that need a good home. You and the little girl would bond instantly because you have so many boys this is what you have been wanting for so long and finally there will be no more guys against mom.

If you don't want to adopt and can afford the sperm spinning go for it. This site I'm including says sperm sorting is actually a higher success rate for female babies.

I have heard it is very expensive but it does increase your chances of getting the sex of the baby that you want.
If you have the money, then go for it.
But be prepared also for a boy. You don't want to get your hopes up and then be disappointed that it's another boy.
Pray for girl but be happy with what ever you end up getting.
Good luck.
I have been doing research on the things that people say you can do to influence the gender of your child. I have no idea how effective any of it is.

BUT you can checkout
http://www.ingender.com - they have all sorts of information about high tech methods and low tech methods and even adoption.

There is also a survey there that a number of people filled out stating what they did when they conceived a boy or girl.

You can also checkout
http://www.babycenter.com - Determining Sex board. There is a LOT of information here from either side of the spectrum.

Good Luck.
