My period is six days late. My period always comes every 28-29 days and lasts for four days. I've never been late before in my life. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant so this is very exciting for us. The past few days I have been feeling nauseous every time I try to eat and I've been having some Heartburn and gas problems, but no breast tenderness. I read that all these are early signs of pregnancy. I took a pregnancy test early in the morning but it was negative. Is there anyway that I could still be pregnant? Should I be worried that something is wrong with me? My husband told me to wait a few more days and take the test again. I read somewhere that it could take up to two weeks after your missed period to determine if you are pregnant or not depending on when you conceived.

yeah, wait a couple of days, maybe even a week. I was late and took three test and all of them were negative. then a whole week later i finally got a faint positive test. I'm now waiting on blood test results right now.
Good luck to you. You could be pregnant right now. If you still get negative tests and still no period go take a blood test. they are the most accurate.
I would test again in a couple of days, try one of the early HPT's and if you want to be sure take a blood test, it can determine pregnancy earlier than HPT's, sounds like you are pregnant though, good luck
Remember that all the waiting and trying to concieve can cause your cycle to become more erratic...even if you normally have a 28-29 day cycle you might have ovulated later this month, which could cause you to have a negative result from testing too early.
Why don't you go in for a blood test? It will ease your mind. Also, I recommend charting your body temperature...this helps pinpoint exactly when you ovulate and you will know for that month exactly when your period will come.
Ur hubby was rite!!. Wait for 2 weeks, take a test after tht.. If u still feel those signs, take a blood test for sure.. tht will determine abt ur preg, even before u miss a period...
