From reading on the net and asking friends etc I always worked out when I was fertile and then we did the business on those days, as often as possible.
Then we took a lot longer to conceive the second, when I went to see my Obstetrician he basically said to forget about working out ovulating and fertile times and to have sex at least 4 times a week and eventually something will happen.
I was surprised that he said that. I guess it is the way to go, but knowing when you are fertile will obviously increase your chances. I got one of those saliva tests that tell when you are fertile and when we used it we got pregnant soon after that.
Have sex when you want. when the time is right it will happen or better yet if you MUST conceive now get an ovulation kit
I don't know, but I bet you'd have fun giving it a try!

They probably told you that thinking it would give him time to build up sperm. The best thing to do is try not to think about the getting pregnant part and just have fun. Do it when you want and hopefully if all goes well you will be pregnant in no time. I think we only had to try for about a month. Good luck!
you are most fertile 14 days before your period. and getting pregnant is actually a hard thing to accomplish so it's amazing that it happens so often. your eggs are only able to be fertilized within like a 24 hour period. so sex often during this time should help.
Your husband needs time for his strong swimming sperm to build up after intercourse.
